This is a book review of "Harmonic Wealth" by the author James Arthur Ray.

James Arthur Ray is quite an author. He has traveled all over the world to be indoctrinated into spiritual living. Some of his most profound teachings of his are when he talks about the ancient Hawaiian traditions and the "Na-ow" in everybody. Your intuitive gut feeling when something does or doesn't seem right. He holds regular seminars throughout the world; he commands hundreds of people during his meditation sessions.

The book "Harmonic Wealth" tries to capture some of this magic from his "Harmonic Wealth" week-ends. It's a great book, and the topic is very deep. Specifically, quantum physics. For example, around everyone is a vibrational bubble, called a "tube taurus". If we fill our tube taurus with good thoughts and energy, more of the same will come to us.

This spiritual way of thinking changes lives and is pretty much of what the book is about. It introduces the reader to new concepts that him or her can implement into their life. There is even a web site offered to track your progress.

He covers 5 pillars of our lives. These pillars are: Mental, Physical, Financial, Spiritual and Physical.

The first pillar he covers is Financial. He has us take an honest look at our feelings towards money. We discover our concepts of money are deeply related to how we were brought up with money. We are holding onto old attitude and beliefs.

The next pillar is Relational. How can you expect others to love you if you don't even love yourself? That's pretty much the driving force here. Self Image, like attracts like, being responsible for your own thoughts. No one can make you feel bad, you make yourself feel bad. That's a hard pill to swallow!

The next pillar is Mental. Almost everyone has genius: it could be in Linguistic Intelligence, Musical Intelligence, Logical-Mathematical Intelligence, Spatial Intelligence, Body-Kinesthetic Intelligence, Intrapersonal Intelligence or Interpersonal Intelligence.  He nicely describes ditching self limiting beliefs, this being an area that really holds us back. Avoid anything that weakens you and surround yourself with things that strengthen you.

Next pillar is Physical. Recognize what works and what does not in terms of your health. Obesity steals Vitality. Change your eating habits. Eat smarter and living longer. Coffee is battery acid and shoots your blood acid level way up. Breathing exercises are described in detail.

Next pillar is Spiritual. We are all one, and the heart can connect us to our deepest truths, where the mind doesn't even have a clue. Embrace both pain and pleasure in terms of spirituality. Meditation exercises are described in an easy to understand format.

Wow! This is really a powerful book. I read it once but have to read it again. There is just so much life changing information.

James Arthur Ray knows what he is talking about. He has only been studying this for most of his lifetime. Some of these concepts will make you squirm, some will make you mad, either way, they will get you thinking about yourself and your world. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give this book a 10.

Thanks for the review, Neil. Sound like a book I would like to pick up at my library sometime.
